Whole Food Cleanse-Day 9
Last month Paul and I watched a TED talk by Anne Murphy Paul about what babies learn in utero. She was talking about so many interesting things. One point that stuck out for me was that babies can taste what their mothers are eating thus developing a preference for those foods. So of course, I do what any concerned mother-to-be does and eat veggies like there is no tomorrow. Or at least try to. But really, one can only eat so many vegetables without going crazy or at least making you feel like a rabbit. Thus enter the VitaMix and kale smoothies! This particular variation blends and perfectly balances the tartness of pineapple with the sweet, mellow honeydew melon.
